PIC Incredible Moment Elephants Run To Find A Missing Member Of Their Herd

Elephants are often called gentle giants because, despite their large size, they have a vast amount of compassion that they share with others. And it’s not just other elephants that they care for, but they have also been known to rescue animals of other species as well.

But perhaps the loyalty and love of an elephant are best demonstrated by how tight-knit their family herds are. These familial bonds are so incredibly strong, they will never leave a family member behind.

That was demonstrated when one family of elephants realized that a member of their herd was missing and they all immediately began the search.

Similar to how we, humans, begin frantically calling for our friends or family if we’re ever separated in a crowd, these elephants spread out in the Elephant Nature Park in search of the missing member.

Luckily, they didn’t have to search long as the missing elephant wasn’t that far behind. But it is incredibly touching to see just how much these creatures care for one another and how protective they get towards each other.
